Small-lot farmers in Jinotega and Matagalpa, Nicaragua pool their ripe coffee beans together to make this very special coffee. We call it "Positive Impact" because it supports small farms that are often passed over by larger importers and benefit greatly from fair trade such as their partnership with Nicaragua-based Gold Mountain Growers, one of our most trusted and reputable suppliers. We are proud to offer this community lot and play a small part in the economic growth of these farming communities.
This coffee has a tart, bright fruitiness and the medium roast introduces sweet chocolatey notes. It is great for any brew style but works best as a pour-over or drip coffee. It also stands up well to sweeteners and creamers.
